    Balmoral leather boot

    The Balmoral boots history goes back to 1853 when Queen Victoria and Prince Albert bought the Balmoral estate in Scotland. The royal highness had a boot made for his walks in the rainy countryside, and soon the Queen also adopted the style. Obviously, the couple had a strong influence on fashion and the shoe which kept their feet dry in wet Scotland was adopted throughout the lands. Originally made in a combination of leather and suede, this modern take offers a full leather version with two textures to create contrast. BURGUNDY: The burgundy leather has been left simple with only the perforated medallion and slight patina at the tip of the shoe. This is to contrast the plain leather with the leather grain of the upper. It can be worn both casually with a nice pair of beige cotton chinos or formally with tailoring in shades of blue of maybe a grey Prince of Wales check.

    Definitely worth it got exactly whats its in the picture, leather is firm a little stiff but the quality is great. If you never have had to wear in leather before then you might want to go up a size. They are a bit narrow and I would probably go up a size next time going to see how they wear over time thanks 3DM
