    Spectator Wingtip Oxford

    The Spectator shoe lives up to its name and is sure to be noticed with its contrast of classic black Oxford Wingtip and and white leather. The Spectator goes back a long way and was the sports shoe of last century. It was made as a bicolour shoe to keep the white part of the sporty shoe clean, as only the darker parts would get dirty while playing cricket. Because of the white colour and the history, the Spectator is more casual than a usual Oxford shoe. It is perfect for making a stylish statement. Complete the look with smart trousers and a blazer for a perfect weekend outfit.

    Even tough the shoe is listed as a 13 to 13.5 it tight across the instep...

    My recently purchaced brown and white Oxford wingtips are a very smart looking piece of footwear. The size selected appears to be right, style and colour are a stand-out, however I am a little disappointed in the craftmanship and finish. There a couple of small marks on the white leather, on each shoe and the stitching on the toe has left a tiny piece of leather un-stiched. Over-all I'm happy with the product, yet as we know it's the little things that are annoying.
