When I first found your site, it recommended to buy a smaller size since shoes run large, which I did. Now, I can't put the shoe on, so I'm not happy.

I returned the item and awaiting for the waiting for the size replacement. Am told items is out of stock and may take 3-5 weeks.

Very Nice Shoe, Some Trouble with Sizing Though

Love the quality of the Penny Loafers I bought. However, they are too tight. Had I been in a store, I would've said, "No, I need the next size up." Before buying, I asked specifically which size I should buy given that I am a consistent 8½ D or Medium U.S. shoe size. They advised me to buy their size US 8. It is JUST BARELY wearable. I will wear them with thinner socks, and hope they "break in" or stretch a little bit. They say their "US 8" is for 8-8.5. The next size up, their "US 9", is for 9-9.5. I worried the next size up would be too big for me. I needed something in between.....that is, size "US 8½". They don't have half-sizes.
The shoes are great, and they gave me a very good and thorough explanation of the difference between Penny Loafer and John Penny Loafer, but I am struggling with the size.
